Matthias Pfeifer

Short Academic Biography 

• As a PhD student at FU Berlin and Charité University Hospital, Matthias investigated therapeutic vulnerabilities and new treatment strategies for aggressive lymphomas.

• After post-doctoral experiences at Imperial College in London and Astra Zeneca in Cambridge, UK, he joined the Topf lab and is managing and coordinating wet lab aspects and drug discovery projects.

• Target identification/ Target validation/ drug discovery

• Viral protein interfaces as therapeutic targets

• Targeting of non-catalytic domains of oncogenic complexes
