Fabian Hausmann

Short Academic Biography

  • As a PhD student at the University Medical Center Hamburg, Fabian developed generative deep learning methods for single-cell RNAseq data and analyzed multi-omics datasets.

  • Afterwards, he joined the Leibniz Institute for Virology and the Topf lab as a Data Science specialist, where he applies his expertise to various data-driven projects.

Research Interests & Current Project

  • Developing a data science infrastructure at the Leibniz Institute for Virology (LIV)

  • Analyzing multi-omic data to uncover biological insights

  • Applying machine learning techniques to Cryo-Electron Tomography (Cryo-ET) data
